A receipt means these exact bytes had this SHA-256 by this Bitcoin block. It does not mean the contents are true.

Hash in the browser
Your file or text is hashed on your device with SHA-256. The bytes stay with you. Only the hash is sent.

Pending
The hash is submitted to the Bitcoin Timechain via OpenTimestamps. The moment is pending until a real block includes it.

Real Bitcoin height + confirmations
Once a block includes the hash, the receipt shows a real height. Security grows with every block of work stacked on top.

Anyone can check
Open /verify. Paste the hash, the moment URL, or drop the file. No account. Not even ours. Forever.
